We will meet with you to discuss the topics where you need support. We will then create a proposal for your project based on the exchange with you that includes the proposed scope of work, estimated manpower, client expectations and time frame. There is no cost or obligation to create and receive this proposal. In fact, after the start of any project, at any time and for any reason, you can terminate the project and only monies for work performed to date will be owed to IDA.

IDA will provide a proposal for the scope of work based on our discussions with you. This will include an estimate of the time frame required to complete the project. Time frames can range from one week to years.

It depends.. on your preference. We can agree on an hourly rate and only charge the time that we really have worked for you or we agree on a fixed work package and price upfront. In both cases we will keep you informed about the progress of your project.

The key to a successful project is sound planning: a clear definition of requirements, a close follow-up with the customer and the drive to offer the highest dedication and thoroughness in every line of work. The project will not be closed until the customer is satisfied as agreed in the kick-off. This is what we are here for!

For a successful project delivery it is essential to have fluid communication between involved actors during the whole development. Periodic status reviews are planned with technical iterations according to customer needs. Our team will adapt to the level of autonomous work you expect from us.

Absolutely. Our team is keen on visiting customer offices and workshops, as that is where the action happens. Percentage of working time on-site can be agreed before the start of the project. Travel and subsistence expenses will be quoted separately or included in the hourly rate according to customer preference.

System Safety gives emphasis on hazard analysis and design to eliminate or control hazards. Our expertise on complex systems and ARP-4761A can benefit your business to achieve a successful certification and also reduce the cost of re-designing if System Safety is not implemented properly and early on the design project.

Safety is not to be confused with reliability, a reliable product is not necessarily a safe one and vice versa. Even if your product has an excellent reliability record, complying to the most stringent safety requirements is not given or easy to achieve. To achieve an acceptable level of safety, both qualitative and quantitative approaches/techniques as per ARP-4761A are required and we, at IDA, are able to support both.
