From 2017 until 2024, I worked as Head of Product Cyber Security and CVE for Software at Siemens and Rolls-Royce Electrical. In the airworthiness team, I defined the certification basis for electric propulsion systems.

From 2008 until 2017, I worked as Airbus Group Expert for Software and Team Lead at Airbus Helicopter. My team and I developed the operational software for military (Tiger, NH90) and civil (H135, H145) helicopers.

From 2018 to 2024 I worked as the Global Head of Safety and as Safety CVE for all projects at Siemens and Rolls-Royce Electrical. In this role, I worked on VTOL aircraft, on Electric Propulsion Systems, and on the Design Organization Approval of Rolls-Royce Electrical.

From 2010 to 2018, I worked as Safety and Reliability Engineer at Airbus Helicopter. In this role, I worked on helicopter autopilot and flight control systems.

From 2021 until 2024, I worked as Safety Lead for the development of an Electric Propulsion Unit at Rolls-Royce Electrical. In this role, I worked on all necessary documents according to ARP 4761, supported system level trade studies with safety assessments, and controlled the development assurance in this project.

From 2017 until 2021, I worked as Safety Lead for the Airbus A400M Defensive Aids Sub-System and Military Mission Management System at Airbus Defence & Space. My activities also included requirements engineering and safety assessment of critical systems for UAVs and other military aircraft.

From 2017 until 2024, I worked as a Systems Engineer at Siemens and Rolls-Royce Electrical. Responsible for the simulation activities in several projects, my activities focused on performance and behavioural simulation of hybrid propulsion systems at system and at integrated aircraft level. I conducted and supported architectural trade studies, system architecture optimisation, and system analysis (i.e. FMEAs and FTAs) of hybrid electric propulsion systems.

From 2019 until 2025, I worked as Lead Engineer for electric propulsion systems for VTOL capable aircraft at Rolls-Royce Electrical. In this large development project, my team and I performed the systems enginering, safety, simulation, verification, maintenance, and manufacturing activities at propulsion system level and electric propulsion unit level.

From 2015 until 2019, I worked as System Architect for hybrid electric propulsion systems for aircraft at Siemens. In this role, I developed, analysed and optimized system architectures for electric propulsion systems. Analysis included aircraft-level trade studies, mission and short term flight performance, and system FMEAs.

Stress Management: Through my calm energy (and strategic napping routines), I promote relaxation and balance within the team. My presence alone has been shown to lower tension levels and increase smiles.
